That’s why we are thrilled to announce Nadrun Uzaira, our new brand ambassador! Nadrun is more than a brand ambassador for SIZ. She is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to anything related to fashion and creative content. In our interview we got an in-depth look at her story, thought process, and how she creates her outfit from within her closet.

A Journey Fueled by Passion

Nadrun’s love for fashion and modeling was awakened by the iconic movie “Fashion” when she watched it in her early years. The movie’s impact is reflected in her bold and timeless style. Her fashion inspiration is not just limited to the movie; she derives inspiration from all over the internet. On the contrary, she has also mentioned how easy it is to get stuck in the cycle of social media trends. “I try to follow my own style and focus on what I have. My personal style comes from my own wardrobe”, says. Uzaira. 

Embracing the Fashion World — One Step at a Time

She applied for Arka Fashion Week to get a deeper understanding of the Bangladeshi fashion industry. She thought it would be fun to test new waters and dip her toes in the fashion industry to see what would happen and luckily got selected for the audition and came to Dhaka from Chittagong for it. She thought she wouldn’t get in, but in a turn of events amidst all the elimination, Nadrun stood out and made it to the finals and walked for many renowned brands for AFW. This opportunity gave her a sense of belonging as she got to express herself fully. 

When asked what she wants to see from Bangladesh’s industry in the next 5 years , she said “Personally, I want to see more of Bangladeshi heritage and cultural elements brought into the mainstream fashion industry. I think it’s really important for us to go back to the roots Bangladesh was built on and more inclusivity in the modelling industry that gives us a better representation of the population” 

A Natural Fit with SIZ

Nadrun mentioned the uniqueness of the designs and the story it tells through the articles of clothing of SIZ. When asked about her working for SIZ, Nadrun said, “I was extremely excited to work for SIZ, as they were only just starting, and I also just started working as a model. Samaha made me super comfortable, and it was so fun to shoot for them.”

We asked about her favorite pieces. But she couldn’t pick a favorite due to the versatility, which reflects her fashion sense. But if she had to choose, it would be the “Nadrun dress” and the white halter neck dress.
