When Fashion Speaks Volumes: Miss Rachel’s Heartfelt Tribute to Gaza’s Children

Miss Rachel has become a beloved figure across all households in the world. She is known for her bright and cheery presence, which never fails to bring a smile to babies and toddlers alike.

Miss Rachel is known for her gentle voice, kind spirit, and heartfelt dedication to children’s learning. She has created a safe and nurturing space where screentime no longer feels worrisome.

Beyond the screen, Miss Rachel has displayed the fact that her influence is not only limited to children’s education. She is not only an educator but also an advocate who is fearless to use her platform for things that really matter, like Gaza’s ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Glamour 2025

The Glamour Women of the Year 2025 awards were held on November 4th at the iconic Plaza Hotel in New York City. The event set the stage for an evening of style, purpose, and visionaries. Among the exceptional honorees, Miss Rachel honored a moving tribute to the children of Gaza. It merged compassion, courage, and global awareness in a moment that resonated far beyond the fashion realm.

What She Wore: Crafted for a Cause

Miss Rachel’s look not only carried a powerful message for the world but was also a breathtaking example of style.

She wore a subtle yet sophisticated two-toned dress featuring a well-fitted bodice with a memorable white off-the-shoulder top. The white off-shoulder drape was embroidered with drawings from the amazing kids in Gaza—doves to symbolize wanting peace, watermelon, figures with angel wings in order to illustrate their martyred loved ones, and much more. It created a beautiful, story-driven piece of wearable art. The tale of the dress pictured the drawing of Rahaf portraying the simple joys amidst the genocide. The artists included Anne, Luna, Ahmed, Rahaf, Mohammad, Sarah, Rama, Rana, and Shahed.

This culturally significant dress was designed by Risa Kostis and embroidered by the talented L.W. Pearl Atelier.

Stories Behind the Scribbles

These drawings are far more than simple sketches. These are their stories, their dreams. By wearing the children’s artwork, Miss Rachel has helped humanize their lives and so the lives of many in Palestine. Their art has become a vessel for their compassion, allowing the world to feel, to empathize, and to confront the reality of these tragic events with renewed sensitivity.

It serves as a reminder that these children, at their core, are simply just children. They are full of hope, love, and dreams with the same infinite imagination we see in the little ones around us. The only thing that sets them apart is where they were born, a matter of sheer geographical luck.

Fashion Knows No Discrimination

Fashion has always been inherently political. This is due to the fact that it serves as a medium for resistance, self-expression, and power as its a mirror image of the world we live in. For centuries fashion has challenged social norms and amplified the voices of the unheard. Why should it be any different now?

Miss Rachel had shown where she stands on this matter; she is for every child, no matter the race or religion. Her action acts as a reminder that fashion is never neutral. Every stitch and print is woven in benevolence and grit for people to stand on the right side of history.
